It can be  scary thing wielding a sharp razor so close to your private area, even more when you’re a male, so if you’re feeling nervous about shaving down there, you definitely need to keep reading.

But why should you remove your pubic hair? First of all (and perhaps to many the most important  reason), shaving it can make your erection look positively huge. When your pubic hair covers up part of the shaft, visually it can seem much shorter. The hidden part of the shaft will be revealed and can make your penis look a half inch longer. But, of course you wouldn’t care about that would you? lol

The Benefits Of Shaving Your Pubic Area

I am sure I do not have to get into the exact details about the benefits but I have provided a short list below to help those peeps who may be wondering.

Nice smooth skin.

No hair means it will smell better. (Seriously)

No more scratchy pubes on her skin.

Trimming the bush makes the tree look taller.

Less friction from the hair results in greater pleasure.

Less expensive than waxing. Also, a lot less painful.

A sleeker look that generally is considered more attractive.

     The Possible Negative Effects

Just like shaving your face, there can be some downfalls to shaving your man bush. Below is some of the possible risks involved. Most of the risks and negative aspects can certainly be avoided if you properly follow the methods described below and practice safe sex.

Irritated skin, but not always.

There is the risk of small razor cuts.

Possible razor burn if not done correctly.

Pimples & ingrown hairs depending on your skin type.

Choose a Method

There are two ways you can use to shave your pubic hair off. These two methods include:

Method 1 – An Electric Body Groomer

Method 2 – A Manually Operated Razor (Traditional Shaving)

Either of the methods above will give you great results and we will be walking you through each step of both methods to insure you can keep trimmed with ease. If you are not too sure which one to choose, we have written a short explanation

Electric Groomer or Manual Razor?

There are a few different things to consider when choosing your preferred method. It all depends mostly on the “quality” of shave you are looking for. A huge factor when talking about a quality shave is time. A manual razor is gonna be the best quality shave you can get. You can expect to have a very smooth, clean, shave. The only downside is it is a bit more labor intensive and will require more time than using an electric razor.

If you are looking to quickly trim or shave your pubic hair, I would go with the electric groomer. However, keep in mind this won’t end up being super smooth. It is still a very effective method. And don’t get me wrong, the significant other will still thoroughly enjoy it.

Choose Your Tools

Depending on which method you will use, you are required to have a few tools for your “tool” to get the job done right.

Method 1 Tools (Electric)

BODY POWDER

ELECTRIC BODY GROOMER

ANTISEPTIC

Method 2 Tools (Manual)

RAZOR BLADE

HAIR TRIMMER

SHAVING CREAM

PRE SHAVE OIL

BODY POWDER

ANTISEPTIC

General Pubic Shaving Principles

As you probably know with your face. Try to always go against the grain. Doing so will produce the closest, cleanest shave. If you tend to get skin irritation, acne, ingrown hair, etc from shaving then you want to consider going with the grain as this will irritate the area much less.

Keep your skin pulled tight is a MUST when shaving your balls. Seriously. If you do not, your skin will hang loose and this will result in lots of razor cuts. This goes for both the manual and electric methods. A cut on your sack absolutely sucks and it can bleed quite a bit. So absolutely be sure to keep your skin nice a taut by pulling it. You will have to adjust and do what works best, but you will get the hang of stretching the skin for a cut-free finish.

How To Shave Your Balls

Step 1 – Clean Your Razor or Body Groomer

Step 2 -Trim The Area to Be Shaven

Ever genuinely wondered how, where or when to kick start a career in fashion styling? For you, maybe, you are just looking to satisfy your curiosity about the people behind some of the biggest brands in the fashion industry. Either ways, you’re in luck with one.

Hold my beer…..

Team Lyfe republic hooked up with top fashion stylist Prince Boamah Kuleape, and talked about how he got into styling, the workflow, his ambitions, and much more. For the past 5 years, Mr. Boamah has been running the KULAPERRYOUTLOOK (boutique) and for him, working in fashion doesn’t seem like a career choice, but a fate that he just couldn’t resist. With years of professional styling experience, Kula Perry has styled some of our favorite music videos and celebrities. He tells us that his career has been a journey with many lessons learned, attesting to the fact that nothing comes easily.

After enduring Accra’s annoying traffic, the team is finally settling in for a great interview with Kulaperry, the celebrity stylist. He is in high spirits, and we already start throwing questions at him. However, like a typical Ghanaian host, he suspends his answers and offers some good wine.

We accept and take sips, still dying to hear him give us answers already!

Grinning with finesse, he answers the first question.

Q: Tell us a bit about the person or team behind your brand

A: Kulaperry is the person behind FEAR NO MAN. A brand developer, stylist and the lead creator for FEAR NO MAN. Once driven by enthusiasm for the FEAR NO MAN brand and has eagle eye for fashion.

The FEAR NO MAN clothing line logo portrays a white human face with a red strip across the eyes of the face. The logo represents the African heritage. The color white was chosen for the face because it stands for cleanliness and purity while the red color for the strip represents the toil, hustle and struggle of Africans endured in achieving their dreams. The entirety of the logo simply seeks to highlight on the practice of seeing and speaking no evil. FEAR NO MAN is a line that stands as a symbol for people who fear nobody except God.

Q: How was the start up of (fearnoman)

Starting with a few tee-shirt which I wore around and that got the attention of the people. Gradually, they wanted it. We had to focus on that and design different merch.

Q: Can u describe briefly how your outfits are made? Are they all made here in Ghana?

A: The designs are based on my personal life experiences with the idea of evicting Fear and inspiring Hope and no they are made outside Ghana, depending on the type of merch.

Q: Why are you in this particular business?

A: Because fashion is a lifestyle and there’s more to it than making money. It changes life

Q: Is it profitable?

A: Yes, so far as it pays me and enables me to help others

You don’t need us to tell you that accessories can take an outfit from boring and basic to glamorous in an instant. Admit it or not, there are certain fashion accessories that you simply cannot do without and so we’ve gathered a list of major accessories every woman should have. See what’s hot in the accessory game :

Sunglasses
Forget a smile, you’re never fully dressed without a killer pair of shades. Bigger is usually better, but not mandatory if they overwhelm your face shape.

Hats

Effortlessly chic. And who has to know that you’re actually hiding a nightmare hair day?

Shoes

Update your shoe collections with more sneakers, flats and heels that don’t lie! From printed, striped, velvety, denim like and plastic shoes, you can make anything with minimal outfits.

Bags

These babies are a must! And the good thing about purchasing many bags it to satisfy all forms of fashion fancy. From intricate details on it like beads and sequins, embroidery or any textured feel you can go crazy with your bag choice. If plains are your thing, you can find them in different types.

A waist belt
Well, it’s not like we ever really wear a belt to hold our pants up. Move your belt a few inches north and exploit its waist-defining potential instead.

Jewellery

From modern metal creations to sparkling pieces you can find all types of jewellery in silver, bronze, gold, diamonds, pearls, gemstones and you can go on naming it as it sets new standard in accessorizing. Fashion jewellery like brooches, rings, bracelets, anklets, bangles, watches, earrings and necklaces can be worn all at a go keeping it minimal but yet vibrant to admire.

In Namibia, where the average temperature in the summer is 80 degrees, Herero women deck themselves out with long sleeves and petticoats. Their gorgeous dresses, elaborate headpieces, and vibrant patterns showcase their pride in their identity, all the while alluding to the suffering they’ve endured within the past 100 years — including a genocide that nearly wiped them out.

But what produced the Herero sense of style is clearly known. In the late 19th century, the Germans took possession of “German South Africa” (nowadays Namibia). They then systematically appropriated Herero grazing land and brought Herero people in to work for them. The wives of the German colonialists and missionaries took upon themselves to teach the women working in their houses how to dress “properly”.

The Herero people resisted expropriation for many years and started a “great rebellion” that ended with their near destruction in the early 1900s. One would think that the Hereros would have rejected a style of dressing imposed by the colonialists, yet the Herero women embraced it fully and to this day have fiercely protected their dress as a crucial part of their cultural identity.

Herero dress is important to their personal identities, and individual, clan, and national expressions of remembrance and protest.

So even in Namibia’s tropical climate, Herero ladies wear heavy dresses, reflecting the style of the Victorian period with numerous petticoats worn to add roundness to their skirts.Though it’s evolved in the past century, much of the ensemble’s main features have endured: floor-sweeping hemlines, long sleeves, petticoats (which can total up to 24 meters of fabric), and signatures like bold, waxed prints, fringed capes, and a horned hat that honors the Herero’s cow herding roots.

One can see them while visiting Herero villages but also in larger cities, like in Windhoek, Namibia’s capital. The dresses are hand-sewn, with women adding their own personal flair, and are topped off with an elaborate horn-shaped headgear sometimes made of a matching fabric. The headdress is said to represent the horns of the cattle, which are so important to the Himba and Herero communities. These elaborate dresses also convey social status as only married women wear them. (Unmarried women wear more typical, modern western clothes.) Also, the size of the hat is an indication of the size of cattle herd own by the family; a larger hat suggests a more prosperous family. The Herero women take enormous pride in their outfits.

Can we all take a moment and notice Lupita Nyong’o’s fabulous looks at the moment? The Kenyan Hollywood actress had single-handedly been gearing us up for the ‘Black Panther’ cinema release with a series of red-carpet looks that takes direct inspiration from the Marvel film. First, it was the Atelier Versace gown at the LA premiere, then her Elie Saab two-piece worn in Seoul, and even her ‘gangsta’ outfit while doing press, she is giving us serious power wardrobe inspiration with metallics, strong necklines, shoulder pads and embellished harnesses. It’s only halfway through the tour, but we’re sure there are more favourites to come!

Cinch it! Want to look like you’ve lost an inch or two without hitting the gym or even breaking a sweat? Most women want to know the secrets to whittling their waistlines without going on a diet. Whether you’re statuesque, petite, plus size, or simply average, we got you covered! And oh while your shape-wear can easily give the illusion of a tinier midsection, we have some simple ways to create a more streamlined silhouette. Yup, it really is that easy

Belt it up

Belts are a style must and give you the illusion of a waist even when you don’t have a defined midsection. Adding a belt to anything from a shift dress to an oversize sweater can have a big impact on your look.

 Bum bags

Hit two birds with one stone with a fanny pack.  Free your hands from clutching a bag and get your waist cinched and accentuated!

Wear corsets

No, not the rib cage-crushing type women wore before. Replace your belts with modern corsets to help highlight your shape and add some edge to your look.

Peplums

Peplums as extensions on tops and dresses are a great way to define your waist. By flaring out from the waistline, you create an illusion of a more cinched midsection. Yes, please!

There is an abundance of charm and beauty in this city, I’ve made it a point of duty to explore this in depth over the course of 5 weeks and to share it with you all. The highlight of my moments being the interaction with locals, their warm embrace towards me and my platform, they invited me into their homes, communities and shared their stories with me. A reoccurring topic was the waste and litter that flooded their surroundings, I felt rather inadequate, as it seemed such a huge issue to tackle, I remember thinking “where does one begin?”, aside the doubts that initially overwhelmed me, it definitely inspired me to want to be a part of that change. It’s all my heart thinks about. ❤️

There are few styles as put-together and feminine as the pencil skirt. They are polished, professional-looking, and still flirty enough to change your top and wear from office to a night out. The pencil skirt is one of the most timeless silhouettes in fashion — and with a good reason. Pencil skirt outfits are a flattering look — when worn right of course— on just about every figure.

Well, if you intend to wear pencil skirts for formal or semi-formal office setup, or even at cocktail parties showing off your sex appeal, here are some good tips on what to wear with a pencil skirt – the sexy and sleek way

Pair with a crop top
Anything short and straight is considered a crop top. Crop tops Make the pencil skirt look more funky, sexy and chic.

Wear a pencil skirt with Shirt
Fluid or rigid, as you wish.

Wear a T-Shirt With a Pencil Skirt
To make the pencil skirt look relaxed, dress up a plain tee and pencil skirt with a statement necklace. Wearing a pencil skirt and t-shirt is effortlessly chic and perfect for brunch with the girls or date night

Wear a Pencil Skirt With a Peplum Top
One of the freshest ways to wear the pencil skirt is with a peplum top or jacket. The belted silhouette makes your waist look tiny and plays up an hourglass shape, while the long pencil skirt gives you a slim, tall look.

Wear a Pencil Skirt With a Feminine Blouse
One of the most ladylike ways to wear the pencil skirt is to pair it with a feminine blouse. Go for something lacy or ruffled, or a sheer top.
