Hello loves! Happy Friday Eve! One thing I've learned from about 5 years in America's corporate force is that you MUST learn to show up and SPEAK UP!!! Here's a piece that describes this succinctly . One of the best things I did at the start of my career was to master the art of impromptu speaking. Through Toastmasters meetings, I practiced something called Table Topics every week for seven years. Table Topics is an exercise in which speakers are assigned a random topic by a moderator and then must speak immediately for 60 to 90 seconds. Not only do you improve by repeatedly being put on the spot with no advanced preparation, but you also learn from other participants' feedback.~ Sabina Nawaz . Are you a business owner? If put on the spot can you sell your business? Can you sell yourself? Are you the silent type in meetings? Can you speak with intelligence and confidence when with other professionals? The good thing is speaking up is a skill I learned with loads of practice and just like any other skill, with time, consistent practice will make you better! Saturday, December 9 was the red carpet world premiere of the eighth chapter of the “Star Wars saga: The Last Jedi”

Lupita Nyong’o turn heads as she wore a beautiful strapless dress that featured a thigh-high slit. Her emerald green dress dazzled in the light as it was finished with jewels and a wide wrap-around bow on the torso and she teamed her ensemble with simple open-toe gold heels.
